The Neutral Trend for 2017 – Part 1

Spring 2017 has many trends that are on the runway, which can speak to everyone, no matter what your style is.  This look spoke to me, a new trend of neutrals, by Neiman Marcus.

These looks bring a modern twist to the trend of whites, creams, khakis, and olive. Notice the stripes,  blouse off of the shoulder, ruffle detail, flair hem, and wedge shoes.

Is this fashion trend over for 2015… the plaid shirt?

The classic plaid shirt goes hand in hand with a girl’s natural Bohemian style, and has been graced has a staple and a must have for your closet.

With many ways to wear the plaid shirt, 2014, brought a trend that caught on like wild fire worldwide. However, fashion bloggers are calling this trend one that should be on it’s way out..

I like the look, and can’t believe that it is on the list of the Top Ten Fashion Trends that need to go for 2015! The alternative suggestion was to wear a sweater around your neck or shoulders ? To me, that takes away all of the edgy Bohemian chic that the plaid shirt stands for.

Maybe the trend has peaked on the fashion cycle, and it’s becoming passe’. Either way, I will definitely take the adorable shoes that the model is wearing!

Happy New Year! Cheers to Fashion!

Welcome 2015 and to VogueintheOC’s Fashion Diary.  Don’t you just love the anticipation of watching the ball dropping in Time Square on New Year’s Eve?  Counting down the last 10 seconds of the year?  Ahhh.. what does the new year have in store for you.. or better yet, for your closet?

Are you in a fashion rut, and find yourself wearing the same black or grey shirt?  While your other clothes are begging you to wear them, but you still can’t figure out why in the heck that you bought them in the first place?

Do you want to give that beautiful colorful bohemian blouse a try, but are a little afraid of what people will think, because it may be too bold for you?
